The company AMVROSIA S.A. informs about the recall of the product CHEF SELECT Hummus 250g with expiration dates 01/08/2026 (Lot 110601) & 08/08/2026 (Lot 180601, Lot 220601).
Larnaka, July 06, 2026. The company AMVROSIA S.A. is proceeding with a precautionary recall of the product CHEF SELECT Hummus 250g, with expiration dates 01/08/2026 (Lot 110601) & 08/08/2026 (Lot 180601, Lot 220601). Αs part of its regular self-monitoring program, a sample of tahini raw material was found positive for presence of salmonella. Therefore, AMVROSIA S.A. informs all customers to take note of this recall and stop consuming the product.
The product CHEF SELECT Hummus 250g was sold by LIDL Cyprus and can be returned to any of our stores, where the purchase price will be fully refunded, even without a receipt.
The recall concerns exclusively the product CHEF SELECT Hummus 250g with expiration dates of 01/08/2026 (Lot 110601) & 08/08/2026 (Lot 180601, Lot 220601). Other products sold in our stores, as well as other products from the company AMVROSIA S.A. are not affected by this recall.
