Easy ideas for Easter brunch: That way it will be a relaxed celebration!
Cooking and baking, decorating, shopping and keeping track of everything – that's quite a lot of stress! Do you want to make your Easter brunch the relaxing highlight of the holidays? With our tips for a relaxed Easter feast, you'll have everything under control.

Anti-stress planning for Easter brunch
Eating and drinking for hours, exuberantly enjoying the start of spring: Easter brunch is a favourite during the holidays. You want to host it at home, pull out all the stops, and still stay relaxed? Follow the golden rules of Easter brunch planning:
1.Start early. The sooner the guest list, menu and daily schedule are finalised, the better you can work through your to-do lists.
2.Make it easy for yourself. No one expects an elaborate menu. Finger food is always a good fit for Easter brunch; home-made, ready-made and baked goods all have a place on the Easter brunch buffet.
3.Get help. Everyone is asked to contribute something. A cake here, a quiche there, or a salad – and the table almost fills itself. You can also ask if someone can come a little earlier to help you with the final preparations.
And check if your kitchen has everything you need for mixing, cooking and baking. Apart from the kitchen helpers like a food processor, this can also include essentials like kettles, cutting boards, braising pans, etc.
Our tip: Space on the stove is limited, but important when preparing the Easter brunch buffet. An extra induction cooker is energy-saving, fast and always ready when you're planning a larger meal!
The Easter brunch buffet: DIY instead of kitchen battle
At brunch, you can put together breakfast classics and lunch treats, savoury and sweet dishes, cold and hot dishes according to your preferences. Simply search for recipes that you can prepare quickly and with few ingredients.
What's the best tool for that? The air fryer! For example, it can cook bread and rolls, muffins or hearty finger food in record time. You can even cook eggs or meat in here without any effort. In the Lidl recipe world you will find many inspirations and recipes for the air fryer.
Top tip for the air fryer: You can adapt many oven recipes to the air fryer. To achieve this, reduce the specified temperature by 10 to 20 degrees and shorten the baking time by slightly more than ten percent. Always season the oil so that the spices don't ‘fly away’ during air frying.
You'll have even less stress if your Easter brunch becomes a DIY event. Instead of elaborately decorating muffins, for example, you simply place frosting, sprinkles, etc. on the buffet. This will allow your (little) guests to give free rein to their creativity. Or you could forgo filled rolls and create a bagel station with cream cheese, salmon, and other toppings. You can prepare the cream cheese variations in large portions. For this you will need herbs and spices, cream cheese and a stick or hand mixer.
Lightning-fast decoration with guaranteed eye-catching appeal
A beautifully decorated spring table is an essential part of the Easter brunch. The decoration doesn't have to be elaborate. With current styling trends and decorating hacks, your Easter brunch table will be a real eye-catcher:
-Tea towels in trendy colours and designs not only ensure shiny plates and cups. Clean and ironed, they are a trendy alternative to napkins. If you add some early wildflowers or flowering branches, the spring-fresh feeling is perfect.
- If pastel colours are on the table, you don't have to make any effort – the Easter mood will come by itself. All you need is a tablecloth in a pastel shade, spring flowers like tulips or daffodils, and cute Easter bunny figurines. No time for the florist? Artificial tulip bouquets with a real-touch effect are virtually indistinguishable from the originals in the garden!
- Origami, the art of paper folding, is very popular as a decoration. Bunnies, birds, and eggs delight as paper artworks with graphic lines that you can arrange into elegant glasses and dishes. You'll understand the beginner-friendly instructions right away; for implementation, take a creative spring theme kit.
- Looking for the last-minute decorations? Nothing could be easier! Simply arrange a few Easter egg pendants on pretty branches from the garden or place your freshly cooked eggs in a decorative basket with an Easter theme – and you're done!
