Find the right cup for you
If it pinches or is too tight, even the most beautiful bra in your wardrobe is not a pleasure. These are the most common bra fit problems and our tips to help you feel comfortable in your bra:
The underbust band provides the necessary support for your bra, so it is important to wear the right size. If it feels too tight, you are probably wearing a bra size that is too small. If the underbust band slides up at the back, it is probably too loose and you are wearing too large a circumference. Either choose a tighter hook or use a smaller circumference size.
Does your chest stick out over the cups? Then you either need a larger bra cup size or a larger size if the underbust band is too tight. Are you not filling your cups all the way? Then try a smaller cup size. If your bra band is too wide, try a smaller size.
The straps should run parallel to each other on the back and neither slide nor feel too tight. If the straps are too tight, loosen them a little. If they slip, pull the straps a little tighter.
The bra bridge should lie as flat as possible on the body without pressing or protruding.

Tip 1: wash your bra
Even if your bra is not really dirty, you should wash it gently every two to five days. The reason for this: sebum, perfume residues or body lotion can damage the bra fabric in the long run. Attention: Do not forget to use a laundry net to protect the bra during washing!
Tip 2: dry your bra
Do you hang your bras lengthwise on the line after washing? Better not, because it can cause the bra to lose its shape. It would be better to place the bra on the drying rack or hang it at the the bridge, so the weight is evenly distributed.
Tip 3: temperature
Always pay attention to the recommendation on the care label. For bras, for example, a wash at 30 degrees is often enough. Almost all detergents are also suitable for low washing temperatures.

How to find your bra size:
Once you have found your size at Lidl, you will always know which size to choose. This applies to all types of clothing, not just underwear. Romantic bra with lace, simple bra or bra with push-up effect: the right fit is particularly important for bras. For the right fit, especially the width (e.g. 75, 80, 85) of the underbust circumference plays a decisive role. For the correct cup (A, B, C, D) also the chest circumference is important.
How to measure your bra size:
The best way to measure yourself is when wearing an unpadded bra.
The underbust circumference is measured directly below the chest. Stand upright and breathe normally.
The chest circumference measures your body circumference at the widest part of your chest (over the nipple). Do not apply the measuring tape too loosely or too tightly and make sure that it stays at the same height and does not slip.
Try it differently: Bra cross sizes
