The Lidl Food Academy took its guests on an exciting culinary journey headed straight for Mexico on Saturday, 11 May.The Academy's chef, Konstantinos Petevinos, shared secrets of the Aztec and Maya cuisines with attendees, filling the Academy with intense flavours, spices and aromas that have certainly left their mark on each and every participant. Of course, the Mexican cuisine class would not be complete without the famous tacos. The ingredients needed for their preparation included El Tequito tortillas, “Tou Hasapi” (Butcher's) lean beef mince and salsa with Freshona corn. Last but not least, a Mexican Capirotada pudding made with El Tequito tortillas, fresh Lovilio mozzarella cut into cubes and finely-chopped Alesto almonds featured as the menu's sweet delight.
